Maintenance Management Systems (MMS)

This comprehensive training program train students to properly staff, schedule, supervise, and manage a maintenance organization. Principles of preventive and predictive maintenance are also included. PERSONNEL ARE REQUIRED TO

1. Demonstrate knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems - Computer Assisted Facilities Management (CAFM) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
2. Demonstrate understanding of MMS and CMMS:
3. Understand how to set up the program and input data on equipment and items to measure
4. Establish baselines with standards, priorities, and backup requirements
5. Establish maintenance schedules
6. Set up reports, frequency, levels and user access
7. Establish inter-operability with accounting system
8. Establish inventory thresholds/levels and determine maintenance tasks
9. Determine user roles (access levels) and identify system administrators
10. Establish close-out procedures
11. Process departmental charge-backs
12. Determine costs/pricing structure (e.g., labor, materials, overhead)
13. Ensure system maintenance backup data and develop data archiving strategy
